On November 30th, 2023 the Edmonson County Water District issued a boil water advisory because the potential exists for bacteriological contamination due to low pressure or no pressure because of a main line break. The area/areas affected are: Ray Houchin Rd. The advisory will remain in effect until water samples have been taken and the threat of contamination has been eliminated to the satisfaction of the Environmental Protection Agency.
